Hill International is seeking a Design Manager in Gilroy, California The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. Qualifications Four-year college degree is required in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. Must have a minimum of 15 years' experience or advanced degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Experience in municipal and public works projects. CCM, PE, or RA is not required but a path toward certification and/or licensure is preferred. The hourly range for this position is $89.00 - $109.00. The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience, and work location. Responsibilities Support with program and design oversight. Ensure effective communication with the Project Manager and Design Engineers. Development of scopes of work for design contracts. Development of construction packages for the City procurement department. Research, gather information from various sources to help in the development of work product. Coordinate availability of project team members (internal and external) to schedule project meetings, site visits, design reviews, constructability reviews, walk-throughs, etc. Coordinate and/or participate in design and constructability reviews and maintain and organize design review reports and comment resolution matrices. Ensure effective communication with our sub consultants and other engineers contracted by the program. Evaluate design schedule submittals to ensure program compliance. Perform monthly schedule and budget updates and forecasting costs to ensure accurate cash flow. Process purchase orders, contracts, and change orders. Assist with The Hill Culture of Safety and ensure project compliance by completing all required safety documentation and obtaining appropriate approvals. Review project documents for accuracy and compliance with client requirements. Maintain project document repository. Ensure Client communications are accurate and up to date. File all project documents in a timely, organized manner. Monitor project progress, take progress photos if necessary, and upload to project repository. #J-18808-Ljbffr
