Overview The Associate Deli Merchandiser is responsible for supporting deli programs within PCC including prepared foods, bakery, and cheese. They work collaboratively with store operations and office support departments to ensure successful execution of deli programs in accordance with financial, social and environmental goals. Job Locations US-WA-Seattle Address 3131 Elliott Ave Comp Details $65,000 - $70,000 /annually, depending on experience. Main Job Responsibilities Supports Deli Merchandiser in execution of deli initiatives, creation and communication of programs, and operational support Works with the supplier community to ensure PCC quality standards are maintained Implements and maintains deli product guidelines and sourcing of vendor products following those guidelines and ensures current selections are staying compliant with those guidelines Supports co-op-wide promotional plans in collaboration with marketing, merchandising, IT, and operations including monthly promotions, seasonal events, and in-store sampling and demonstrations Provides training, mentoring, and development to deli staff Communicates effectively and in a timely manner, both in writing and verbally Works in conjunction with Deli team to provide weekly store visits in order to support and maintain established deli retail merchandising guidelines and best practices for execution of these guidelines Manages fresh team database maintaining accuracy in costing and all other attributes that affect the flow of information in our systems Reconciles invoices and communicates with vendors around cost discrepancies Works with pricing manager and IT department to enhance our systems and more effectively execute database accuracy Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to ensure a competitive edge in the market.
