Job Description/Responsibilities The Brand Director, BuzzBallz is responsible for driving the global expansion and growth of BuzzBallz as the next billion-dollar brand. This role encompasses global strategy, long-term volume objectives, and achieving brand contribution targets. The Brand Director oversees the development of brand plans, annual activation initiatives, and new business development (NBD), while ensuring cross-functional collaboration with key teams including Sales, Trade Marketing, BI, DCOE, Operations, Finance, and Compliance. A key aspect of this role is building and retaining a high-performing team aligned with Sazerac's culture. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Planning Develop and execute global strategies to achieve long-term volume and contribution goals. Create brand plans, activation initiatives, and NBD strategies to support brand growth. Prioritize country and state-level resources and efforts to meet brand objectives. Lead the strategic brand planning process, including marketing, packaging, pricing, and consumer targeting. Performance and Accountability Utilize PDS (Performance Development System) to drive personal and team development. Conduct regular performance reviews, skill evaluations, and set measurable progress goals. Monitor BCSPs, KPIs, and performance metrics, ensuring consistent execution and timely course corrections. Budgeting and Resource Allocation Develop annual budgets for US and global markets. Oversee marketing plans, pricing strategies, channel tactics, and consumer communication initiatives to meet brand objectives. Marketing and Consumer Engagement Lead consumer-focused brand positioning efforts. Drive development of communication and activation plans that build awareness and affinity. Collaborate with agencies for strategic brand plans, media buys, POS design, and promotional efforts. Engage PR and experiential agencies to enhance visibility and influencer engagement. New Business Development (NBD) Identify and prioritize opportunities for incremental volume, revenue, and profit growth. Lead the end-to-end development and execution of NBD projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Address consumer problems to inform product development and positioning. Team Development and Leadership Foster a culture of fairness, respect, and motivation within global teams. Cultivate consistency in company culture across diverse geographies. Coach and mentor high-potential talent to build a strong bench of future leaders. Competitive Intelligence and Brand Development Lead research efforts to identify and capitalize on global brand opportunities. Drive strategies that connect Sazerac brands to consumers and build loyalty. Team and Project Management Establish clear priorities and define team roles for success. Monitor team progress and ensure alignment with brand objectives. Qualifications/Requirements To be successful in the role, you'll need these qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years' Management experience 5+ years' implementation or project management experience 5+ years' experience in a fast paced environment 5+ years' P & L Experience 5 +years' brand management experience 5+ years' experience managing an Advertising Agency Demonstrated success in driving international brand growth Ability to communicate with all levels of an org Strong analytical and technical skills Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes Record of successful leadership Excellent oral & written communication skills Willingness to travel Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time PREFERRED Brand Management experience in the spirits industry MBA Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications 3+ years' National Accounts / Key Account experience (on and off premise) 2+ years' Pricing Experience 2+ years' Supply Chain Experience 3+ years' Experience in New Business Development 2+ years 'Experience leading the development and execution of commercial strategies Physical Requirements A valid driver's license Ability to work remote Ability to pay attention to detail Compensation: Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position.
