What You Will Do: Accountable for growth and development of the Haircare & Styling business within Matrix, specifically focused on our hero pillars. Responsible for the strategy, implementation, and evaluation of the business in SalonCentric and local chain accounts. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including all promotional activities and product launches. Interact effectively with departments such as: sales, operations, finance, education, public relations, marketing services, creative, sales administration, global marketing team and senior management team. Monitor and analyze business results to recommend opportunities for improving plans and their execution. Job Responsibilities Include: Own vision & strategy for launches and hero pillars. Ensure that launches are delivered on time and on budget. Own category support calendar and plan including key promotions, in-store merchandising, 360 support plans, activations, and digital elements. Proactively own sales results and category analytics to diagnose the business. Develop forecast for areas of Haircare portfolio ownership, track and re-trend as needed. Develop pricing strategy and SKU rationalization strategy. Prepare and deliver presentations to sales and distributor teams. Understand market share gaps for both professional and consumer markets, identify white space and strategies to gain share and outperform competition. Conduct marketing research, follow up on campaigns and launches, and provide Senior Management team with regular quantitative and qualitative reports. Responsible for management meeting prep. What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. 5-7 years brand management experience, preferably with beauty industry-related experience. Strong analytical skills and financial acumen. Excellent written/oral communication skills and forecasting experience. Strong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills. Computer expertise on Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to travel domestically periodically (max. 25%).
