Impact & Role Join as the 2nd engineering hire, working directly with technical co-founders Shape technical infrastructure and best practices from the ground up Build and own critical features in a greenfield environment Help create an engineering culture that's collaborative and inclusive Ideal Background 1+ years of production engineering experience (exceptional new grads considered) Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React Track record of shipping products end-to-end Experience with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS/Azure is valuable CS degree from a top university with strong fundamentals Previous founding engineer experience is a plus What Sets You Apart You prioritize solving customer problems over specific tech stack preferences You consider communication your strongest skill You've owned products from conception to production Construction industry experience or data product experience is valuable The Package Salary: $100K - $160K Equity: 0.5% - 1.0% Location: Flexible within SF, NYC, Boston, DC, or Northeast Corridor Remote/Hybrid options available Backing & Growth Backed by a leading pre-seed/seed VC fund known for identifying winning teams early (portfolio includes unicorns in health tech, fintech, and data infrastructure) and a specialized construction tech VC connected to a $5B+ construction company. #J-18808-Ljbffr
