HR General Manager

Employment Type: Permanent Job Category: Human Resources Job Number: RW58748712 Job Description We are seeking a high-performing and experienced General Manager of Human Resources to lead the HR function at a manufacturing facility in Cibolo, Texas. This pivotal role involves overseeing all HR operations, guiding staff, and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. The HR General Manager will act as a key leader in developing policies, fostering a supportive workplace culture, and driving talent development to meet long-term goals. Responsibilities: Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with overall business objectives. Lead and oversee the HR department, including managing and mentoring HR staff. Administer HR plans, procedures, and benefits programs while ensuring policy compliance. Direct recruitment, training, and performance management processes to support workforce development. Establish KPIs and systems to monitor departmental performance and results. Foster strong relationships with employees, addressing concerns to maintain morale and trust. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required. 10+ years of HR management experience, including 7+ years in a leadership role. 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of employment laws, compensation strategies, and HR systems. Proven interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on relationship-building. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR business systems; analytical and problem-solving expertise. HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
