Monday, January 6, 2025 The Regional Merchandiser reports to the Director, Visual Merchandising and is responsible for leading the brand vision in directly owned showrooms. The Regional Merchandiser will coach showroom teams to think fiscally while ensuring that the in-store experience remains at the center of everything we do. Product presentation, showroom windows, campaign implementation, trends, and marketing must have a clear impact on overall sales. Responsibilities: Responsible for performing installations as part of remodels, new showroom openings, vendor-supported activities, decommissions and other company initiatives. Partner and review work completed by authorized third-party contractors and provide functionality support. Set planograms and marketing, implement new technology and ensure our showrooms are ready for business each day. Complete company sponsored merchandising tasks, which include electrical display setup, signage implementation and installation of new product categories. Install seasonal displays. Complete project merchandising and store display functionality support within given timelines. Support training new associates through job shadowing and sharing of best practices. Implement new interactive displays and technologies. Perform basic and intermediate functionality support on store interactive displays. Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort & Company values. Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams. Requirements: Minimum 3 years previous experience in Merchandising, Project Management. Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating Microsoft Office. This involves working both dayside and overnight shifts. Demonstrated merchandising, technical or functionality support skills. Able to safely use small hand tools, light duty power tools and other in-house equipment. Able to work overnight and weekend shifts. Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities. Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager. Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat, and phone. Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings. Profound understanding of the competitive landscape. Highly analytical with strong problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong product sense with confirmed experience in driving product assortments from conceptualization to point of sale. Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to respond to and support with ancillary tasks as assigned by manager. Ability to travel 75% of the time. We Provide: Competitive base salary and discretionary annual bonus.
