Swim Team Director of Completive Aquatics / Head Coach

The Director of Competitive Aquatics/Head Coach will provide direct leadership, instruction and motivation to all swim team participants in a safe and positive environment. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of swim coaching experience. 3+ years experience as a competitive swimmer. USA Swimming Coach or ASCA Level 1 and principles of YMCA Competitive Swimming Certification preferred. Certification requirements include: Lifeguard certification, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer or CPR/AED for lifeguards, First Aid, Pool Operator - preferred. Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software. Good interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to make presentations. Strong oral and written skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments. Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights and weekends. #J-18808-Ljbffr
