About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. Reporting directly to the global General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice, supporting strategic growth objectives, and ensuring sound risk management & compliance across our business operations in the US and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to work in-house with a rapidly growing global organization with flagship customers and unique IP at the forefront of sustainable technology. Responsibilities As Corporate Counsel, you will: • Contract Negotiation & Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, customer sales agreements, NDAs, and partnership arrangements. • Regulatory: Provide legal advice on regulatory frameworks affecting the business. • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations and strategic initiatives. • Advisory Support: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, offering guidance on legal matters affecting the company's growth and operations. • Intellectual Property: Support the protection of Tritium's intellectual property assets and ensure compliance with applicable IP laws. • Employment Matters: Provide advice on employment and labor law issues in coordination with HR teams. • Compliance: Assist with compliance matters, including data privacy, export controls, and industry-specific standards. • Dispute Resolution: Manage pre-litigation disputes and coordinate with external counsel when necessary. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, to align legal strategies with business objectives. About You To succeed in this role, you will need: • A Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state. • A minimum of 2+ years of in-house or private practice commercial legal experience (preferably in a technology, manufacturing, or energy-related industry). • Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and proactively. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. • A passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the advancement of sustainable technology.
