This is a Part-Time BCBA Position with the availability to work Monday-Friday 3:00PM - 7:00PM or similar. The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below. Position Summary: The BCBA is responsible for managing a caseload of 8-12 clients providing Applied Behavior Analysis services. They are responsible for the evaluation of new clients on their caseload, as well as the development and maintenance of clients ongoing therapy programs. The BCBA is also responsible for consistent parent training, as well as mentorship and training for the RBTs on their caseload. Essential Functions: Assess incoming clients for treatment using various assessment tools, and provide a clinical recommendation for weekly treatment hours based on client need Develop individualized therapeutic programs to address client goals, drawing heavily from NET principles Revise and update client programs on a regular basis, every 1-2 weeks Support RBTs via mentorship and training for children on their caseload Provide supervision for 5-10% of an RBTs supervision hours Direct work with clients, always being ready to model a skill for an RBT or client Complete and submit required documentation, including, but not limited to, SOAP Notes, Evaluations, Progress Reports in accordance with practice guidelines Coordination of care with other professionals and disciplines Supervision of at least 1 student earning their BCBA fieldwork hours, if necessary Mentor and train new team members as requested by Clinic ABA Director Participate in weekly team meetings with the clinics ABA and BCBA teams Required Education, Experience and Credentials: Masters Degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Experience working in a clinic setting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to mentor and develop RBTs and future BCBAs Competence with a variety of computer applications Familiar with a wide variety of ABA assessments Personal Attributes: Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as a team Comfortable persona to better develop relationships with children and their families Development mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement Passion for working with children with special needs Dedicated clinician with a passion for quality outcomes rooted in education, training and development Accountable for personal behavior and performance Receptive to feedback with a commitment to personal and professional development Honest and transparent communicator Work Environment and Physical Demands: Ability to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessions Ability to lift or carry 30 lbs Ability to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapy Travel Requirements Some travel within assigned region for training, meetings and supporting client coverage needs.
