Today we're creating innovative and modern products infused with natural ingredients hand-picked by our product development team, renowned dermatologist Dr. Caroline Robinson, and Celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Digital Marketing Associate to support the development of social media, email, and SMS content as well as support the Marketing team in their daily objectives. The Digital Marketing Associate reports to the Brand Marketing Manager under the supervision of the Director of Brand Management. The Digital Marketing Associate will support the Brand Marketing Manager with creating and executing the content calendar for the respective digital marketing channels. The Digital Marketing Associate will also support the Director of Brand Management with in-office administrative deliverables. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong online presence for the brand and will execute strategies to increase brand awareness and establish brand identity. Additionally, this individual will understand the target audience and current customer base and assist in maintaining the strategy for engagement and brand admiration. RESPONSIBILITIES: STRATEGY: Support the Brand Marketing Manager in conceptualizing and executing a comprehensive content calendar for social media, email, and SMS, integrating brand priorities, retailer objectives, and brand storytelling. Stay up to date with industry best practices and the social landscape. Evaluate and recommend platform features and/or trends to implement. Constantly propose creative ideas that align with brand goals and customer behavior. CONTENT: Write copy for digital platforms including but not limited to social media and email. Partner with Brand Marketing Manager to translate high-level marketing strategy and messaging into relevant content to support evergreen campaigns, new product launches, and retailer partner needs. Execute filming and editing of content created in-house and on-location. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Proactively and reactively drive conversation with social media audience; from consumers to influencers to makeup artists to foster the Fashion Fair community and grow brand advocacy. Observe customer feedback and provide insight to the broader marketing team on a regular basis. REPORTING: Measure content performance based on engagement goals set by the Brand Marketing Manager. Report on social KPIs and collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager to provide actionable recommendations to the broader marketing team. ADMINISTRATIVE: Assist the Marketing team with in-office deliverables including but not limited to influencer gifting, tracking of projects, and managing digital assets. Other marketing deliverables as assigned by the Brand Marketing Manager and Director of Brand Management. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Passionate about beauty and connecting with Black audiences. 1-3 years of social media, digital marketing, and copywriting experience. In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms. Proficient in social media management tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.). Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills. Organized with exceptional time-management skills. Content creation and video editing (Familiar with Canva, Capcut, Inshot, etc.). Must know how to work independently, efficiently, and effectively. Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Location: Hybrid, Minimum of 2 days in the Chicago, IL office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
