Job Description The Department: Invesco's Internal Consulting Organization is a team of practitioners who provide consulting expertise, underpinned with core program management capabilities, for the largest strategic efforts across Invesco. Your Role: The ICO Director is responsible for managing, developing and building out a team that will provide transformational services including project and program leadership, agile coaching, business readiness (change management), process optimization etc.. This individual reports to the Global Head of the Internal Consulting Organization (ICO) and is an active member of the ICO leadership team. They will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs with a high level of quality and minimal risk. This individual will have deep program management as well as knowledge of specialized consulting services. A primary focus of this role will be Change Management and the continued upskilling of practitioners. You will be responsible for: Developing and leading Global Enterprise change management initiatives across multiple workstreams resulting in employee adoption and usage. Leading the evaluation of planned organizational change, preparing, supporting and equipping people to adopt and use changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, organization structures, and more (top candidates will be experienced in asset management). Definition, development and deployment of all change management capabilities including but not limited to: Change management framework Change Impact assessments (people, process, systems) Training (plan and content) Strategic communications Executive leadership influence and alignment Leading a global, diverse team of internal consultants; aligns goals with overall ICO and technology vision, ensuring clear line of sight for all employees for deliverables, metrics, and expectations. Energizes team by encouraging staff to leverage the full range of their talents to enhance business results; focuses on creating developmental experiences to broaden the team's capabilities. Spends significant time engaging and helping steer a variety of projects at the executive level as well as serving as coach and mentor to internal consulting team driving the day to day execution. Develops a consulting services team that drives strategic change across Invesco's technology and business programs. This individual will be responsible for hiring and developing the talent necessary to execute the Consulting Services vision. Use of ICO resources should reduce the overall level of third party spend within Invesco by providing value and a comparable level of service. Builds transformational program management and consulting skills across the ICO, Technology and Invesco wide. Past experience building consulting disciplines from developing methodology, building capabilities and driving delivery excellence is necessary for this role. Drives and ensures performance of strategic programs by providing program delivery, program office, consultancy and transformation expertise. Develops appropriate metrics that can track performance across programs. The experience you bring: Minimum of 10 years combined experience in a combination of the following areas: Managing in a major consulting firm leading large scale financial services engagements (preferably in the area of asset management and/or technology) Leading Change Management initiatives Successfully managing multiple large scale technology projects in a corporate setting Managing a diverse team, preferably global management experience Experience and passion for coaching and mentoring Experience aligning technology resources with business strategies Experience managing different methodologies e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Lean Asset management industry experience preferred A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, technology or similar field required, master's degree preferred; will consider equivalent work experience Reputation for strong leader, mentor, coach Strategy agility Mindset to inspire, teach and learn Proven ability to drive execution of large scale, complex programs Ability to effectively translate technology language for business leaders Team player, thrives in a collaborative work environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way Strong organizational skills and detail orientation Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people's opinions Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals at all levels of technical understanding Full Time / Part Time: Full time Worker Type: Employee Job Exempt (Yes / No): Yes Workplace Model: At Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
