The Special Projects Director will report directly to the Chief FinancialOfficer (CFO), Integrated Kidney Care (IKC). This teammate willserve as a Director of Special Projects and support the development ofbusiness strategy, aggregating and synthesizing analysis, partnering withvarious functions across the enterprise to drive strategic planning,organizing management processes, business communications and supporting teamengagement initiatives. This includes efforts in IKC, Procurement(PRISM), Redwoods and the Contact Center Transformation initiative. Location: Denver based, hybrid role (Tues, Wed & Thurs in office)Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of top performance anddesire to help improve our overall healthcare system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the IKC CFO in crafting and executing on strategic itiatives extend arcorss the IKC CFO's portfolio including PRISM,Redwoods and Contact Center or other areas of the CFO's portfolioOrganize Finance / Analytics and Growth IKC efforts and drive collaborationacross lanesHighlight management process gaps or improvement opportunities, thenimplement solutionsDrive creation of materials for executive updates, bi-annual strategy /performance reviews and other updates against portfolioLead critical project(s) working across multiple service lanes; monitormetrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations forsenior leadershipCollaborate across IKC, PRISM, Contact Center teams to perform analysesand synthesize resultsSupport internal communication by helping to craft and deliver key messagesStrategy & Project Execution:Ability to lead through influence, often managing several senior levelstakeholders with various prioritiesDrives results / gets things done - defines approach with limited guidance/ oversight and adjusts as needed while seeking feedback and inputManages and drives strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration withother teamsAble to structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and driveexecutionDevelops and communicates project scope, timeline, plan, resourcerequirements, and assumptionsCreates, implements, and drives adoption of processes and solutions tofurther clinical and business outcomesCommunicates project status updates and needs to senior leadership;prepares, reports, an manages against targets/goals including scope,schedule, metrics, and revenueThis role is based in Denver Education & Experience Requirements:Prior experience in Project Management, Strategy, and/or Consulting,or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives within healthcare orfinancial operations leadership.Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or graduate degree preferredAt least7 years of experience in a strategic or operational leadership roleA minimum of 5 years of project management experienceAdvanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint requiredPrior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payors,physician networks, value-based care models, and/or integrated caremodels may be helpfulAdditional Success Factors:Influencing others to achieve objectivesStrategic thinkingResourcefulness-the ability to find and implement effective solutions despitetime or resource constraintsHandling matters proactively and expeditiously, following through oninitiatives & projects to successful completionAbility to develop approach in ambiguous settings while remaining flexible toaddress change At DaVita, we find that our best leaders are those who create an inspiringvision for the future and empowers their team to achieve success.
