THE DEPARTMENT: The Division of University Advancement aims to enhance private support and knowledge of the university through programs, events, and activities that engage alumni, friends, parents, corporations, and foundations. The division manages development, alumni and external relations, advancement services, and annual giving. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Special Projects/Strategic Initiatives: Manage, execute, and coordinate special projects for the Vice President's Office. Create detailed project plans and manage day-to-day project activities. Communicate updates to stakeholders. Manage work related to campus strategic plans and serve as the division assessment liaison. Prepare annual reports and data analysis presentations for the Vice President. Conduct research for high-level presentations and reports. Communications: Develop standard reporting procedures for the Vice President's Office. Manage communications for the division on behalf of the VP. Write and edit Presidential Briefings and division-wide communications. Draft remarks and presentations for the Vice President. CSFPF Board Relations: Collaborate with the VP/CEO and AVP/COO on board relations. Develop board-related materials and presentations. Conduct research on best practices for board communications. Staff Supervision and Development: Recruit, supervise, and evaluate administrative and student assistants. Assign project tasks and track progress. Provide guidance and professional development opportunities. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or relevant professional training and experience. Valid Driver License. 3 years of progressive experience in administrative support and project management. Ability to work effectively with university staff and constituents. Proficiency in office equipment and software applications. Experience with database systems such as Advance and Raisers Edge. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with project management software.
