So, here's what you can expect: Role and Responsibilities: As a Senior Associate on the Communications/Marketing team, you'll be responsible for: Develop, implement and coordinate our resident communications strategy to further engage our residents with community events, good neighbor messaging and more. Help grow and strengthen the function by bringing big ideas to life throughout the year by developing clear, compelling and connected resident journeys across multiple touchpoints. Manage and deploy our bi-weekly community newsletters across our NYC portfolio. Write new monthly articles for all of our communities around neighborhood happenings, hot spots, and more. Additionally, this role will manage ghost writers for articles and guides across our portfolio. Assist the leasing, lifestyles and resident services team with additional one-off emails as needed. This includes, weather, emergency notices and more. Manage a robust content calendar including web updates, articles/content, and resident notices and emails. Update all community websites with the support of the team and visual media manager on an ongoing basis with new content and more. Work closely with senior leaders and managers to plan, build and deploy effective communications that support community projects, construction, good neighbor issues, and more, to write and deploy ongoing resident updates. Stay informed about industry trends, community developments, and local news to effectively tailor communication messages and strategies to residents. What you should have: Minimum of bachelor's degree required (discipline agnostic if you can demonstrate a passion for storytelling, communications, and sharp critical analysis skills.) 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment with some combination of change management, government/political campaigns, private equity, financial services, or commercial real estate. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, an excellent attention to detail, and an ability to jump back and forth between internal and external communications with ease. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key internal partners; ability to hold one's own alongside senior leadership and push things through in the face of obstacles. Be able to work proactively and autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for reader/consumer experience. Knowledge of social media, digital engagement, and strategic best practices for communications, reader engagement, and user experience. A strong creative flair, helpful if you have photography/videography/content creation experience, too. Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office; helpful if you have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Experience with email marketing platforms. Proven track record with: Managing the lifecycle of projects Change management (both creation of CM plans and implementation) Multi-media storytelling Ambition without ego and a people-first mentality.
