Conquest Sport Group is revolutionizing the outdoor sporting and home textiles industry. Launched just four years ago with the Hurley brand, we have since expanded our portfolio to include eight active licensed brands across multiple product categories. Our departments today include Home and Hydration, Camping and Snow Gear, Watersports and Swim Accessories, Sporting Goods, and Outdoor Recreation. Our current brand portfolio includes Hurley, Tahari, Scotch and Soda, Justice, Brookstone, OffWhite, Canada Weather Gear, as well as 2 new sporting licenses underway. Growing annually, we are excited to build our awesome team. We are currently looking for an Industrial Tech Designer with graphic experience to produce technical specifications for factory development. The candidate will assist with concepting, design, prototyping, tech packs, T&As, samples, line sheets, fittings, and supplier communication. Location: Brooklyn, New York (in-house employment required) Reports to: Product Development Head Schedule: Needs to be flexible to accommodate some international communication Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of product design from concept to final prototype. Develop detailed tech packs outlining product construction, materials, trims, sizing, and labeling requirements. Develop detailed tech packs for graphic artwork applied to products and ready for production. Communicate product design and development topics to factories. Follow and update T&As, and communicate any delays or setbacks cross-functionally. Review and evaluate samples for accuracy and quality, providing feedback to suppliers and making necessary revisions. Organize, track, and store all samples, and assist in setting up and breaking down samples for meetings. Approve PP samples on every production run and maintain records of approvals. Work cross-functionally to ensure prototypes and marketing samples are produced correctly and on time. Create Adobe Illustrator sketches and/or 3D modeling images to prepare and update design boards and line sheets. Attend internal and external meetings, bringing valuable insights as an active participant. Maintain brand consistency across all products and channels. Communicate potential setbacks or delays to the Director of Planning and other impacted functions. Maintain organized records of all tech packs, sample evaluations, and supplier communications. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator), 3D software, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and external providers. Passion and eye for design. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proactive and takes initiative in problem-solving. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to clearly articulate a point of view.
