Senior Application Developer

Position: Senior Application Developer Location: Columbus, OH Position Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Duties: Develop and implement solutions based on PWS requirements to meet the needed PoC objectives. All work is within best practices for application design, development, testing, and deployment framework(s) as required within the DoD. Work performed by the Application Developer is in collaboration with the government SMEs (i.e. COBOL programmers) to meet the requirement of executing the automated code translation and code optimization. The application developer shall proficiently execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project. Work directly with the Software/Solutions Architect and Systems Engineer to ensure the PWS tasks are appropriately executed and accomplished. Is highly proficient and has demonstrated experience with software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST APIs, mobile development, and Web-Based APIs in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications. Minimum Experience: Ten (10) years total work experience developing applications for large complex IT systems. Demonstrated results working on legacy modernization projects for the federal government (DoD preferred) or modernization with legacy mainframe-based systems in the commercial banking/finance sector. Demonstrated experience working with hierarchical database structures as well as relational database structures. Demonstrated experience as a full-stack developer. Significant experience implementing software solutions leveraging agile SW methodology. Significant experience with ML/AI processes and implementing solutions based on AI/ML. Minimum Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or a closely related discipline. Required Clearance/Certification(s): Confidential or higher Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
