The Workforce Opportunity Specialist is responsible for maintaining all employer specific and employer-related activities from beginning to end. Incumbent will design a business outreach plan targeted toward meeting the needs of clients and our customer base. Core responsibilities shall include: Develops a strong understanding of customer market dynamics and its requirements; Understanding current employment trends and adapts to changing marketplace; Develops a focused business outreach plan in conjunction with leadership which details activities to follow during a set timeframe; Capable of understanding an effective communication, program vision, business model and execution strategies; Developing loyal & long lasting client relationships through personal communication and touch backs; Demonstrates a consultant sales approach utilizing strong communication skills to procure/maintain new employer relationships and job orders; Adheres to all company compliance, policies, procedures & business code of ethics; Generates leads and expands client base to include presentations promoting HC services; Schedules and conducts presentations to demonstrate HC programs; Prospects, qualifies and solidifies relationships, overcomes objections and closes new accounts using sales techniques to meet minimum target as specified by goals/contracts; Maintains existing accounts; Maintains accurate records of all prospecting activities and updates qualifies leads through referrals; cold calls; face to face meetings; direct mail; email; and networking including employer files, marketing plans; Meets minimum targets as defined by program goals; Performs other job related duties as assigned. Requirements Education, Skills & Experiences Required: Associate Degree and 2 - 3 years of sales experience generating new accounts in the public or private sector. Bachelor's degree preferred; A thorough understanding of vocational skills & career development clusters; A proven track record of relationship building; sales generation and leveraging new business; Experience working with substance abuse populations or and/or individuals with multiple barriers to employment; Strong communication skills including; written and verbal and computer skills including Microsoft Office; Outlook; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer to facilitate job success; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Valid drivers license required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
