The Vice President of IT Digital Services is accountable for implementing and executing the Company's digital strategy and will oversee the business partnership, application development and architecture, IT program and project management office, and the data, analytics, and AI functions.This role involves developing and managing the business portfolio strategy, collaborating with department heads to create a technology roadmap delivering on innovation as well as sustainability, and ensuring effective and secure use of data and digital solutions across the resort.The VP IT - Digital Services will report to the CFO and lead a team to drive innovation, improve operational effectiveness, and support business growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Develop and manage the business portfolio strategy, aligning technology initiatives and resources with prioritized business objectives Oversee the IT management office, ensuring effective portfolio and project management, and testing/QA Lead the application development and architecture teams, ensuring the integration and scalability of technology solutions with a focus to optimize applications and effectively manage technical debt Oversee the data and analytics strategy, including data platforms and governance, data modeling, and data engineering, to position the Company to use data-driven insights for business decision-making Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and opportunities, creating a business-aligned technology roadmap Foster a culture of innovation, identifying and implementing new technologies and best practices Ensure the successful delivery of digital projects to desired business outcomes, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing digital services team, developing talent and promoting a collaborative, results-driven work environment Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance digital services Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners, to ensure alignment of digital services with business strategies and customer needs Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Ten (10) years' experience in the Information Technology arena with a strong track record in digital transformation and technology strategy Proven track record of successfully managing digital projects and leading teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Appetite for building and continuously developing high-performing, technology-focused teams, including experience assessing candidates for both technical acumen and personality/culture fit. Strong understanding of digital platforms, technologies, and best practices, including web, mobile, cloud, and emerging technologies Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results Collaborative approach to developing technology strategy, business plans, and related execution Understands resort and casino technology trends to build strategy, scalable, and secure solutions Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business outcomes through technology Experience with Gaming regulatory compliance-based organizations including experience with technology, security, and privacy related audits Effective skills to communicate technology strategy and business plans to executive leadership Digital customer experience strategy and implementation Effective operational process improvement Excellent leadership, prioritization, and organizational abilities Experience in managing IT budgets and vendor relationships Strong business acumen and the ability to align digital services with business goals and customer needs Ability to conduct technological analyses and research Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment KEY INTERACTIONS, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO The Company's President Business department heads (e.g. Marketing, Casino, Hotel, Facilities) The Chief Information Officer, who oversees Systems Engineering, Network Services, Application Support, IT Operations, and Vendor & Financial Management Portfolio Business Partner teams SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position oversees Business Partnership Teams, IT Management Office Team, Application Development and Architecture Teams, and Data and Analytics Teams.
