Vendor Brand Specialist, Macallan (LAX - Tom Bradley International Terminal) What you'll be doing? We are currently searching for passionate brand ambassadors for our new Macallan Boutique opening in February 2025 located in the LAX - Tom Bradley International Terminal. This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $18.00-$22.00 per hour and is commission eligible. Reporting to the Macallan Boutique Manager, you will work in the most important role on the boutique floor and be the first direct conduit between the Macallan products and our customers. You will build customer loyalty and relationships while challenging yourself with sales and productivity targets. Key Responsibilities Selling via the Best Customer Experience: Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now. • Assist customers in selecting, purchasing, and refunding merchandise while demonstrating excellence in customer service. • Complete customer transactions in a professional and timely manner. • Identify customer temperaments and recommend products that suit their style. • Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner; refer to the Manager on Duty if appropriate. • Assist other sales staff in peak periods to ensure customers in all areas are attended to promptly, with waiting time reduced to a minimum. Floor and Product Presentation: • Ensure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirements. • Maintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the department. • Be familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services, and facilities as appropriate. • Assist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g., inventory management, promotional activities, and merchandise stock flow. Ideal Candidate High School diploma or equivalent work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 2+ years of retail experience in Luxury Retail preferred; experience or interest in wines and spirits is beneficial. Knowledge of stock control management. Committed to achieving and exceeding targets while focusing on delivering top-class brand experience. Customer-oriented; comfortable with one-on-one elevated customer service. Able to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers. Pleasant and professional attitude; team player and ability to work independently. Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Proficiency in English; ability to speak a second language is an added advantage.
