Contracts Closeout Specialist

BAI Inc. is seeking a Contracts Closeout Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. This individual will provide on-site contracting related support to a Government Agency Contract Closeout Office. Candidates will analyze contract documents, maintain electronic spreadsheets, interface with DCAA/DCMA, and prepare/track contract closeout forms. Candidates will assist in the process of de-obligating excess funds as required from current and completed contracts; supporting the preparation, generation, and performance of all contract closeout actions, documentation, and data entry as required; overseeing and assisting with tracking and reporting the contract closeout files from the Government. Requirements Two (2) years of Federal Government Contracts related experience Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe Acrobat Must have an active TS/SCI clearance Nice to have Certifications: FAR, DFAR, DAWIA Level I/II in contracts.
