Design System Director at Collibra in Remote You understand why and how a human-centered design approach transforms a business. You are a designer with a strong engineering background who can inspire and work equally well with both teams. A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, Computer Science, and or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in UX Design or related Design field. 6 years of experience managing and leading design teams, including building a design system for a complex B2B product. A strong technical background with solid project management skills. Excellent collaboration and relationship management abilities. You Are: A systems thinker, committed to developing and owning the Collibra Design System and its roadmap. Proficient at creating comprehensive metrics to report on how you advance towards implementation and adoption of the Design System. Customer-driven and passionate about helping our internal and external customers be successful. Able to work cross-functionally and work equally well with Engineers as with Designers. A master at balancing short-term goals and long-term vision. Responsibilities Championing the Collibra Design System (CDS) and building understanding and support for it within all relevant divisions of Collibra. Developing a cohesive strategy of how to evolve the Collibra Design System so that it becomes the preferred way to build products at Collibra. Developing a tight collaborative working relationship with the Central Front End team, so that they adopt and grow the CDS 100%. Ensuring that we have an effective, efficient process to migrate the older system to the new system and have a process to add new components. Identifying critical user-centric metrics to showcase measurable results and build trust with Collibra's leadership. Be data driven and drive for execution, yet don't compromise on quality. Managing, mentoring, and growing a team of UI and UX designers who work on the CDS. Within your first month, you will study Collibra's business strategy, and understand how the Product Design strategy connects to the larger picture.
