Job Description The VP of Provider Relations establishes and maintains a professional relationship with onboarded physicians and their office staff by biweekly visiting their office. The VP of Provider Relations will perform in-services for prospective surgeons that are completing the credentialing stage. In this role the VP of Provider Relations will act as a liaison between the surgeon office, Prime MSO, and Prime Surgical Center. RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish and maintain relationships between physicians and organization. Assists with physician recruiting and onboarding. Assist in performing in-services for all onboarding providers. Visits assigned accounts on a set schedule determined by department and physician need and logged to a corresponding Salesforce activity. Pull case review content and additional measures to audit physician and organizational productivity. Collaborate with program management and innovation teams in monitoring appropriate physician resourcing and performance. Proactively and effectively communicate with surgeons to manage evolving expectations, needs, and priorities. Build strong relationships with surgeon and office staff by acting as a trusted partner. Service and maximize potential with new and existing surgeons. Identify issues provider's or their office staff face and escalate to management as needed. Adherence to established surgeon performance goals and objectives. Act as a liaison between the surgeon's office, Prime MSO, and PSCs. Maintain and update surgeon information to all associated parties. Efficiently assist in management of a defined geographic territory. Must conduct self in an ethical, legal and responsible manner at all times. Ability to prioritize and demonstrate sound judgment in handling/resolving problems. Complete face-to-face sales meetings with physicians, schedulers, practice managers, and medical staff from referring organizations to ensure understanding, as well as to close business, ensuring that obstacles are identified and minimized. Coordinate meetings between key staff, physician groups, and external customer groups to improve communication and relationships to increase referrals or resolve customer service issues. Effective communication with peers, clients, physicians, and other professionals. Attend monthly admin meetings and scheduled networking events, as needed. Assist in identifying targeted physicians using effective recruitment methods. Identifies knowledge, skills and abilities needed by the hiring department (secondary of position responsibilities). Understand and effectively input all interactions with providers and staff through the Salesforce platform. Effectively manage territory, conducting office visits to include: Education on services offered, enhancement and new advancements Maintaining a positive image of the organization (community-centered, patient-first, leading-edge provider) Offering excellent customer service Responds to all communications - phone calls, e-mails, etc. - in a timely manner. Submits weekly reports as requested by management. Assists Business Development with onboarding new providers and acclimating them to our scheduling process. Submits all credit card expenses and check requests following Company and Department guidelines. Captures new scheduling requests by using Approved Not Scheduled reports and other resources. Meet and/or exceed set quarterly department targets and objectives. Facilitate the retention of physicians, referring organization and community relationships. Travel to centers/clinics on a need be basis. Performs additional duties assigned by Executive Vice President of Relations and Board Members. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two years client-facing experience required. Organizational and time management skills. Strong organizational skills. Able to accommodate departmental scheduling requirements as needed. Able to work with senior leaders, management staff and employees at all levels. Able to work in a fast paced, productive work environment. MUST be a self-motivated, independent worker. MUST be able to work full time and overtime when necessary. Possibility of working some weekends. Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or Marketing (Preferred) Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hospital/Healthcare Administration (Preferred) Requirements: Minimum of two years client-facing experience Department of Justice Background Check Satisfactory Completion of Health/Drug Screening Proof legal US work eligibility Valid CA Class C Driver's License At least three years of experience working directly in operations, ideally in a relatable setting Company Description Since 2014, Prime MSO has developed and managed surgical facilities that provide patients with the highest level of surgical care.
