Wright Institute Tenure-track Faculty Positions Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Positions Available : Lifespan Development Half- or Full-time, Tenure Track Institute Faculty Cognition and Emotion Half- or Full-time, Tenure Track Institute Faculty General Half- or Full-time, Tenure Track Institute Faculty Department: Clinical PsyD Psychology Program Location: Wright Institute, 2728 Durant Ave., Berkeley, CA Academic Terms: For Half- or Full-time Institute Faculty Positions (September 1 - June 30) includes Fall (13 weeks), Winter (13 weeks), and Spring (10 weeks) Trimesters. Qualifications: A doctoral degree emphasizing scientific expertise and/or research experience in the areas of developmental or cognitive and affective bases of behavior. Candidates for the general position must have a doctoral degree in one of the areas of health service psychology (Clinical, Counseling, School), experience teaching at the graduate level, and expertise in a variety of clinical areas covered by the curriculum. Salary: Competitive, based on years of experience. Position Overview: Lifespan Development and the Cognition and Emotion courses are each fundamental components of the Foundations Series within the Clinical Doctor of Psychology Program at the Wright Institute. Instructors for either of these two course areas who are seeking full-time employment should also be qualified and willing to teach a year-long sequence of courses including research methods, statistics, tests and measurements, and a course involving the guidance of doctoral students in preparing a pre-dissertation prospectus. Applicants should also be able and willing to serve as the chair of dissertation committees. Applicants for the general half- or full-time positions must be qualified and willing to teach a variety of courses (no less than 4 for half-time and 8 for full-time) representative of the profession-wide competencies (see the link to this position for further information).
