Tax Director

Our client is a leading global investment management firm. They seek a Tax Director to join their Los Angeles, CA office. Responsibilities Manage teams and projects related to the global funds tax reporting function Analyze tax data and transactions to streamline reporting and inform decision-making Supervise a talented team of tax professionals and grow and develop their careers Liaise with external service providers to manage tax reporting deliverables Oversee global tax transformation initiatives through tax operations and projects Work to monitor and mitigate tax risk across the funds Assess fund transactions, domestic and cross-border acquisitions, and restructurings Review new rules and regulations that impact partners and global investments Answer various investor tax inquiries such as tax withholding reporting obligations Work closely with state and federal tax authorities, including audit responses Requirements Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred 11+ years of tax experience Public (Big 4) or combo accounting background Financial services industry background Tax compliance and transaction experience Supervisory experience required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills CPA strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
