BCG Attorney Search Experience 2-10 yrs required Posted on Oct 26, 2024 Profile A law firm in Boston, MA is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans, and will play a key role in managing transactions from due diligence through closing. Experience in a large law firm is strongly preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and manage commercial real estate finance transactions, including commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans. Act as a key member of deal teams, handling essential aspects of transactions from due diligence through to closing. Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents such as credit agreements, promissory notes, and other related agreements. Conduct thorough due diligence, including title and survey reviews, and coordinate with other legal and business teams. Provide legal advice on complex real estate finance issues and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Prepare and review legal opinions and other transaction-related documentation. Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting real estate finance. Requirements: 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, with proven expertise in managing transactions and working as part of deal teams. Hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans. Experience in a large law firm is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of real estate finance law, including due diligence, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the Bar in Massachusetts or eligibility for admission. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to handle complex legal and financial issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents. Proven ability to work effectively within a team and manage client relationships. High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and preparing legal documents. Proficiency with legal research tools and software related to real estate finance.
