WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER AT ALMA DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FOUNDATION The Chief Program Officer (CPO) at Alma Domestic Violence Foundation plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the organization's mission. This position is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all programs, ensuring they align with our core values and commitment to serving domestic violence survivors. The CPO will utilize a deep knowledge of program management principles and stakeholder management to foster innovation and growth. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and build strong relationships with partners and funders. Additionally, you will manage the program operations budget and collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to identify funding sources. Your expertise will help ensure all programs are scalable, sustainable, and impactful, while also representing the foundation at community events and outreach activities. To succeed as the Chief Program Officer at Alma Domestic Violence Foundation , candidates must possess a robust skill set and relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in program management, including at least 3 years in a senior management role. Proven experience in supervising and overseeing staff is essential. Strong capabilities in budgeting and financial management within a nonprofit setting are critical for effective resource allocation. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary for articulating the organization's mission and engaging stakeholders. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a high degree of organizational and planning skills, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, and strong leadership and team-building abilities to cultivate a collaborative work environment.
