Oracle Director of Software Development, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) As a director of the software development for the Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), you will be responsible for managing a world-wide development organization that delivers an integrated solution of software, compute, networking, and storage optimized and engineered to offer high-availability, performance, and simple management for Oracle Databases and applications at an affordable price. Thousands of ODA deployments are used by small and medium businesses as well as enterprise customers to run their business critical Oracle databases and applications. Responsibilities Provide strategy, leadership, and technical direction for a geographically distributed team (U.S, Mexico, and India) of senior and junior engineers. Manage and deliver timely, high-quality hardware and software releases. Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features, and enhancements. Drive the delivery of roadmap commitments including large cross-functional projects on time with high quality. Work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively. Provide regular updates and feature presentation/demos to upper management.
