This position requires proven expertise and experience relevant to the partner's area of focus. Working closely with the SVP of Strategic Partnerships and the Head of Climate, Energy & Infrastructure, the VP Relationship Manager will focus on building relationships, onboarding partners, and managing these important connections with synergistic climate and clean-energy lenders and investors, high-volume repeat borrowers, climate and clean-energy project aggregators, financial institutions, and government entities among others to enhance Lendistry's loan referral and loan partnership network. This role involves representing Lendistry by delivering exceptional customer service, strategy, sales, and relationship management. Additionally, the VP Relationship Manager will leverage their knowledge and industry connections in the climate and clean-energy space to identify and cultivate new partnerships within these key sectors. LCP & P3 team leads Lendistry's public-private partnerships efforts, strategic private investments and asset management, as well as public policy and government affairs. What You'll Be Doing Serve as a core part of the Lendistry Green initiative, which is working to bring Lendistry financial products to the climate, clean-energy, infrastructure, and sustainability space. Work closely with the Head of Climate, Energy & Infrastructure to formalize key partnerships and relationships that help grow the volume of sustainability lending. Keep apprised of key market trends, government programs, and other relevant policies that shape the climate and clean-energy industry and impact future partnerships. Execute strategies that drive business growth, enhance customer value, and strengthen Lendistry's market presence. Work with the Strategic Partnership Team to cultivate, nurture and grow the Strategic Partnership pipeline and prospects. Work alongside the Strategic Partner Team as new partnerships are established and then take the lead in onboarding and managing the relationship. Manage ongoing partner relationships to achieve established partnership goals. Serve as the matrix manager and collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, operations, marketing, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of financial solutions to clients to meet established SLAs. Serve as an internal subject matter expert on climate and clean-energy financing to support the development and automation of lending in this space. Provide training to the partner on Lendistry's process, products, and services. As needed, provide training to Lendistry's internal teams on partner and repeat borrower objectives and business processes. Review results of each partnership with the Strategic Partner lead monthly to evaluate the results of the relationship and determine future actions. Monitor and track the performance of each partner on a weekly basis using reporting tools to ensure that they are meeting the goals set forth in the partnership agreement. Review reporting and results monthly with each partner and collaborate with the partner to continue to grow the relationship referrals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the financial services, lending sector, climate, and clean-energy financing and share insights and expertise with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Performance measurement will be based on results and revenue achieved and alignment to objectives and key performance indicators established to measure partnership goals. Provide outstanding customer service to the partner and the referred customer. Accomplished by maintaining the highest degree of customer satisfaction and professionalism and establishing SLAs. Bring climate and clean-energy industry experience to the process, working closely with Lendistry's credit team on setting up credit team to develop credit/underwriting guidance process that works smoothly for the new borrower set. Meet with the partner a minimum of monthly (a minimum of quarterly in person based on volume and location) to review results and SLAs. Travel both locally and throughout the country as needed to meet with partners and attend conferences and events. This may involve overnight and multiple days of travel. Attend early morning and evening events and conferences to support our partnerships. Compliance with all policies of Lendistry. Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise Minimum B.A. in a related field of study (Finance, Accounting, Business, Sustainability, Engineering), or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum 7 years of industry or transferable experience. Relationship management experience and associated transferable skills. Strong knowledge of the financial and climate and clean-energy services industry (Commercial Lending or project finance industry experience is a plus). Proven ability to contribute to business development efforts and to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Must be detail-oriented and able to manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments. Ability to generate, grow, and manage sales relationships utilizing effective sales and marketing techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced computer proficiency. Ability to travel, work flexible schedules, and cover different locations, if requested. Proficient and dynamic public speaking and group presentation skills. Sophisticated word processing and computer database skills, especially in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to apply leadership skills and exhibit leadership characteristics in support of leading by influence to motivate and lead internal partners and sales team members. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and state of residence.
