ITS is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent. A construction superintendent is needed to lead and coordinate all aspects of project execution while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring all crews, subcontractors, and materials are effectively managed to meet project deadlines. Qualifications 2 5 years of experience in civil or structural concrete work. Background in water and wastewater treatment construction is preferred. Experience with underground utility installation and process piping is a plus. At least 2 years of supervisory or foreman experience in the construction industry. Valid driver's license. Membership in the Carpenter, Operators, or Laborers Union (or willingness to join). Benefits & Perks Company vehicle with a gas card. Provided company housing. Daily per diem or meal stipend. Four-day workweek. Skills & Knowledge Mechanical knowledge, including pumps, treatment equipment, and piping (preferred). Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Strong understanding of civil and structural concrete, as well as water and wastewater treatment processes. Familiarity with concrete forming systems. Proficiency in operating tools and equipment commonly used in construction. Computer literacy, including experience with Excel and Procore. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate all project activities, including labor, materials, and equipment. Supervise crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards. Ensure proper coordination between subcontractors and other contractors working on-site. Review and fully understand contract documents, including specifications, drawings, and scope of work. Develop work plans to ensure all resources are scheduled and prepared in advance. Assign tasks to workers based on their skill sets and qualifications. Monitor field conditions to identify potential issues, cost-saving measures, or inefficiencies. Accurately document project costs, time sheets, materials, and equipment usage. Enforce all safety protocols, including job site inspections, fall protection, trench shoring, PPE use, and safety meetings. Maintain a clean and organized job site while ensuring adherence to all safety regulations. Follow company reporting procedures for personnel management and safety incidents.
