Job Overview:A Southern California-based defense law firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their team on a contract basis. The opportunity offers a hybrid or remote work environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in workers compensation defense with strong writing experience. Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in workers compensation defense cases, handling all aspects of the litigation process.Make court appearances throughout Southern California as required.Manage case files in a paperless environment, ensuring organized and efficient handling.Collaborate with support staff, maintaining effective communication and workflow.Requirements:Must be barred in California.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Willingness to travel for court appearances as necessary.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Skills:Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.Strong communication and advocacy skills.Compensation: $60- $85 per hour, eligible for health benefits Pay Details: $60.00 to $85.00 per hourSearch managed by: Crystal Villa Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
