Strong interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role. You have the technical skills to identify HVAC problems and the communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, installed, or replaced, and why. Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly Responsibilities:Conduct residential and commercial maintenance and installation of equipmentFulfill preventative maintenance and warranty services for customersLocate and correct HVAC problems, including component installation and replacementCertify newly installed components properly functionKeep record of completed projects and the parts usedQuote customers for the costs of HVAC repairs, replacements, and services Qualifications:Provide outstanding communication to a diverse group of customers and a good problem-solverCandidate must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's licenseEPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification requiredWe require candidates have a high school diploma or GEDCertification or associate's degree from an HVAC program at a technical school or 1+ years experience in the field as an HVAC helper or equivalentMust be able to safely lift 50 lbs or 100 lbs with helpMust have required state and local HVAC technician licensesMust have 5+ years of experience in HVAC Service About Company At Nicholson Heating & Air, our core beliefs lie in ideals that other companies have long since given up on.
