The company fosters a culture of collaboration, employee development, and operational efficiency, making it an ideal environment for professionals passionate about quality management and process improvement.DescriptionThe Quality Manager, Weld Manufacturing will:Develop and analyze quality data to maintain and improve product standardsEstablish and implement quality control objectives in alignment with production goalsOversee inspection and testing processes to ensure compliance and reliabilityInvestigate and resolve customer complaints related to product qualityManage nonconformance and corrective action programsConduct risk assessments during contract review and quoting processesLead internal, customer, and third-party audits (AS9100, ISO9001, Nadcap)Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures and work instructionsVerify and approve vendor certifications and Certificates of ComplianceEnsure proper calibration and maintenance of quality inspection equipmentOversee welder qualification programs and related compliance documentationFacilitate safety meetings and maintain regulatory safety complianceBe onsite at our Chicopee, MA facilityProfileExperience in quality management within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and Nadcap standardsExpertise in nonconformance and corrective action management (NCR/CAR)Background in risk assessment and contract review processesProficiency in internal and external auditing, including regulatory and customer auditsAbility to update and maintain quality procedures and work instructionsExperience with supplier quality management and certification verificationStrong leadership skills to oversee inspection and testing activitiesFamiliarity with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipmentExperience with welding and brazing qualification testing (preferred)Knowledge of safety regulations and committee facilitationStrong problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and process improvementsLocal to Chicopee, MAApply today within for reviewal of your resume within 48 business hours!
