Certification DetailsBLS - Basic Life SupportJob DetailsProvides coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physicians orders based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process.Responsible to Clinical Manager Directly Supervises and Evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.Home visits. Periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation current drivers license and agency-required liability insurance.Average # of patients/day: 5-8Types of Cases: Start of Care Wound Care Follow up Visits etc.Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience depending on the specialty.Job RequirementsMust have recent specialty experience.Weekend REQ: Varies per location and profession please have traveler discuss during the interview.Certs REQ: CPR BLSPending License accepted: (Y/N) No must have license in hand.Schedule InformationMost will be standard 5x8s M-F.Some positions specifically in the western territory often have a Baylor Shift schedule: 4x10s Friday-Monday.Will there be any weekend rotation If so how often Monthly weekend rotation.Will there be any on call If so how much 1 weekly on call shift.Unit Specific InformationAll candidates must complete prior to start. Candidates need to sign new supplier packets at the start of a new assignment after any break in service, even if that break is only one day. We also require them to be completed annually if a contractor works more than 1 year consecutively.Additional DetailsRequired for all placements in the following states - MA, NC, NJ, PA, TN, WA.
