The Respiratory Unit is a specialty unit providing care to patients with ALS, Traumatic Brain Injury and Ventilator Dependency. The desired candidate will have a passion for caring for residents needing 24-hour critical care in a long-term care environment.All Shifts AvailablePay Range (Depending on Experience):Per-Diem Vent LPN: $34.50- $40.65/hr ($.50 - $5 shift differentials)Per- Diem Vent RN: $41.50 - $50.12/hr ($.50 - $5 shift differentials)Per - Diem Vent RN, BSN: $43.50 -$52.12/hr ($.50 - $5 shift differentials)Responsibilities:Assess patients' health needs and develop and implement care plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedMonitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff memberCommunicate with patients and families to provide education and supportCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatmentDocument patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical recordsStay up to date with current research and best practices in nursingParticipate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skillsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Valid MA RN or LPN nursing License1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate nurse.
