Description:Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences seeks administrative assistant to assist the allied health departments in a variety of administrative needs. The Administrative Assistant will report to the program director and act as a liaison on behalf of the Allied Health department when interacting with students, other program and department personnel, etc. Requirements: Responds to phone and /or email communications from students, faculty and vendorsMaintains up-to-date faculty documentation and filing systemCollects and documents required student records/informationAssists in the preparation of reports by gathering data and supporting documentationTracking students' medical requirementsAssists with meeting preparation i.e. schedules, prepares and takes minutes at various meetingsUpdating faculty and student HandbooksPrepares and updates department documents, semester schedules, etc.Collection and electronic storage of academic documents i.e. syllabiFacilitating the Faculty evaluation process, summarizing the resultsDisseminates surveys and questionnairesPrepare for departmental events, meetings and activitiesPreparing and facilitating the student awards Maintaining bulletin boards and department announcementsAssists with the institutional and ACEN accreditation processesPreparing student and faculty correspondenceAssisting with meeting any necessary contractual obligations for clinical sitesEnsures ample supply of office supplies and formsManaging student attendance trackingReporting and managing Helpdesk issuesAssisting with the graduation ceremonyCoordinating and process management of the Swedish Institute scholarship applicationsPerform other assigned administrative tasks when necessary.Must Have: Associate's degree or 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to type accuratelyMust be detail-oriented and extremely accurate.Must work well in team-based environment with minimum supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills.Compensation details: 20-24 Hourly WagePIdd556acfc636-29952-35545520
