Job Description Job Title:Automotive Technician / MechanicLocation: 130 N. Highway 67 Cedar Hill, TX 75104Job Overview:We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing whats right for our guests.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guestsContinuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesComplete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspectionsWork as part of a team to troubleshoot guestconcerns quickly and effectivelyFollow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizationWork closely with the service department and effectively communicate guestconcernsWork together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results Qualifications Qualifications:Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests5+ automotive repair experience is required: diagnostics, drivability, suspensionCapable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehiclesFlexible and Focused on maintaining a high level of guestsatisfactionExcel at diagnostics and drive-ability problemsASE Master Technician with 10 years of experience preferredEuropean vehicle experience prefferedHave the drive to and the ability to turn 50-60 hours per weekAptitude for learning additional skills and processesAbility to quickly master factory scan toolsPhysical Requirements:Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicles needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
