Warehouse Position

Job Title: Machine Operator: Horizontal Band Saw Eastern States Steel, a steel service center located in Norristown PA, is looking to fill an immediate need for a full time Machine Operator for Horizontal Band Saw. The service center manages both structural and flat roll steel production and distribution in bundle to truckload quantities. Shift: 7:45am - 4:30pm Compensation $14 - $16/hr TBD Upon Production Health Care Benefits Available after 3 Months Full Time No prior experience necessary. No certification necessary. On-site training. Located within 2 blocks of Norristown Transportation Station with access to both regional train and bus. General Essential Functions: - Driving forklift. - Preparing bundles of steel in accordance to production reports. - Operating band saw. - Stocking inventory according to job. - Keeping a clean workspace. - Other miscellaneous warehouse jobs as needed. Education and Experience: - Valid state issued license. - Able to work safely and follow company rules and procedures. - Forklift experience preferred. Physical Requirements: - Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Position requires work inside and outside in all weather conditions. - Must be able to traverse the entire facility and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
