Summary Per S탩 Group is working with a leading local commercial general contractor in Des Moines looking to hire a Construction Estimator.Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.The ideal candidate has ground-up commercial construction estimating experience on projects of $10M+   Responsibilities Ability to lead the estimating process of ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finishCollaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to create accurate cost estimatesManage the timeline and schedule of all bid documentsAnalyze blueprints and other documentsQuantity takeoffsAttend pre-bid meetings and site visitsWork closely with the Preconstruction VP to develop and grow the estimating departmentMentor and support junior estimating staff   Preferred Skills and Expertise 6-8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience2+ years of management experienceSage Estimating software experience preferredBS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar preferred   PandoLogic.Keywords: Estimating Manager, Location: Johnston, IA- 50131
