The core mission of the Electrical Assembler is to support the electrical team while being flexible and willing to learn a range of tasks required by each project scope. These tasks may include assembly work, cleaning and more. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical assembly in a production line or manufacturing setting and understand written and verbal instructions. Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssemble electrical materials (wiring, devices, lighting, equipment)Maintain a clean and orderly workspaceRead and understand work orders and project task codesQuality assurance of assemblies Quality assurance for testing functional performanceAssemble fabricated parts Prepare and apply required labelingPrepare and package product for shipmentUnderstand and follow all workplace safety rules and the safe operation of tools and equipment when applicablePerforming other duties as assignedRequirements:RequirementsAbility to use a range of hand and power toolsTechnical ability to perform assemblyPhysical ability to handle components, equipment and toolingAbility to reach, bend, crawl, stoop and lift up to 25 lbs. with no restrictions (see physical requirements below)Excellent communication in English with the ability to express ideas, collaborate with team members and provide information, in both oral and written communicationAbility to be self-directed, requiring little or no supervisionAbility to work well with others and participate as a team member when appropriateQualificationsHigh school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree.Ability to read and interpret plans and shop drawings.Two years' experience with electrical assemblyCompensation$22.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body. The employee must be able to spend time standing at a work station and balance for extended periods of time; be able to move over and around obstacles; be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight or pull and push material and equipment with assistance from crew members. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
