Job Summary: The Paving Account Representative will work directly with municipalities in the Upstate NY and VT area to service their construction needs. This will span from customer visits, to developing estimates and budget plans, to the final construction of projects. They will work closely with materials operations, superintendents, estimators, and equipment managers to ensure successful scheduling and execution of work.Must possess the ability to gain a full understanding of all PII's products, capabilities, and applications.Essential Functions: Transparency and learning. Develop and maintain direct contact with customers, materials, superintendents, dispatch, and equipment managers.Meeting with customers to listen to their concerns and provide advice on paving solutions.Compulsive Tinkering. Producing paving quotes for customers.Scheduling and coordinating trucking, crews, equipment moves, and jobs.Fantastic cooperation and communication skills with other operation team members.Managing project budgets and job cost reporting.Billing customers from quotes.Committed to serve. A passion for customer service and an ability to navigate customer concerns.Maintaining a professional relationship with team members, customers, and communities that we work in.Ensure the quality of milling and paving operations.Mastery. Documentation of daily work and quantities.Participate in company education activities, seminars, classes and training.Other special projects as assigned by management. Requirements, Education and Experience:5-10 years of experience in paving and milling construction.Experience or willingness to learn estimating.Working knowledge of common construction practices in areas of Hot Mix Asphalt, Concrete and AggregatesProficient in basic Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and decision-making abilitiesSelf-Disciplined and motivatedOrganizational/Documentation and prioritizing skillsPC Computer ProficiencyProfessional verbal and written English communication skills.Legal right to work in the U.
