Job Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our Receiving team. This role will be responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments of goods on a team or independently in a manufacturing facility. A Receiving Associate works with a team to ensure the efficient and accurate flow of inventory within the company and maintaining high standards to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is consistent, a team player, problem solver, and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.Responsibilities: • Verify incoming shipments using purchase orders while notating any damages. Receive incoming shipments from various suppliers and carriers. Inspect the received products for accuracy before receiving for quality and completeness.• Schedule and coordinate deliveries of all materials for internal customers. Keep records of goods that have been received using the ERP system, JDE. Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements.• Maintain departmental records such as receipts, package inventories, and packing slips. Document any issues, defects, or deviations from standard procedures. Complete production logs, work orders, and other required paperwork accurately.• Generate proper labels and ensure correct application according to established policies and procedures. Maintain records of received shipments, including packing slips, bills of lading, and any relevant documents. Identify and report defects or issues in the receiving process and necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality.• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve daily and monthly targets• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if required and certified• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements. Identify and report defects or issues in the assembly process and necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality.• Participate in training programs to improve maintenance skills and product knowledge. Obtain and maintain IR certification/license for harness and equipment (forklift, scissors, and boom lift). Attend monthly EHS trainings. Follow all policies and procedures (i.e. report on time and ready to work - Start/Lunch/Breaks)• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly. Follow 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). Test PSI limit no greater than 30,000. Lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift.Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED • 1+ years' experience in manufacturing or other fast paced operations Core Competencies: • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally with hoist to be used on objects over 40 pounds. • Standing: Standing is required in periods of up to three hours at a time. • Stooping: Would be required to lift objects off pallets • Hand Dexterity: Must be able to work with hand tools, screws and gauges, as well as operating buttons on controls. • Verbal Communication: Must be capable of clear communication between co-workers and supervisor. Preferences: • Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses• Ability to operate a fork truck• Ability to identify and solve problems. • General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:This position will be based at our site in Ivyland, PA no travel.
