Manual Machinist/CNC Machinist

Essential Functions:· Review specifications or instructions to understand and plan for production of expected output.· Set up and run equipment such as conventional (manual) lathes and mills and a CNC lathe/mill combo , to complete production to specification.· Carry out basic programming tasks and adjustments on existing CNC lathe/mill combo programs, and collaborate with consultants on more complex programming requirements.· Take measurements using tape measures, calipers, feeler gauges and other equipment to mark material for cutting, shaping, and producing output.· Perform quality inspections of finished parts ensuring finished product meets specifications.· Monitor production process, identify, intervene, and report issues in a timely manner.· Monitor, maintain and operate machines to standard and to preventive maintenance plan.· Consistently adhere to safety and quality policies.
