Our Baton Rouge, LA office is actively searching for an entry-level Engineer with Structural focus and interest in waterfront/marine engineering as well as providing inspection services and field related activities. This position will be available commencing summer 2025. As the successful new hire, you will perform planning and design for waterfront structures projects, including heavy lift cargo ports, marine terminals, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads, marinas and bridge protection structures. You will also learn to perform structural assessments in the field and may be invited to participate in our inspection and rehabilitation team as a Certified Engineer Diver. As an Engineer Diver, you would be part of a team that evaluates marine structures and bridges through above and underwater engineering inspections, follow-on report preparation and development of structural repair designs. You would utilize modern workflows that include field tablets, UAS (drones), nondestructive testing and evaluation, marine mapping and imaging, analysis and modeling tools.Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.Being an ADCI certified Engineer Diver requires physical conditioning and strength. It also requires an additional 12 weeks of off-site intense training.
