Electrician/Maintenance Technicians

We are currently hiring Electricians and Maintenance Mechanics to join our sweet potato processing facility in Clarksville, AR. This is a two shift production operation with a three shift maintenance schedule. There is currently opportunities on all shifts.ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with government agencies and internal standards for example FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HARPC, GMPs, Housekeeping, Allergen Segregation, etc.Ability to work with moderate supervision, provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, compressed air, processing equipment and steam systems.Proactive maintenance and refrigeration repairs, mechanical and/or electrical repairs and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and processing equipment.Must be able to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned productionequipment and the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.Assist with maintenance shop cleanliness, general cleanup, mobile equipment operations, maintenance to building and grounds, standards plumbing, etc.Functional knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag OutMaintain facility equipment to minimize operational downtimeThis department is currently working a 3 1/2 days/40 hours work weekPay depending upon experienceQualificationsExcellent attendance is required1+ Years minimum maintenance experience1+ years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience or equivalent experience strongly preferred.5+ years electrical experienceJourneymans LicenseComputer skills - basic computer skills wil be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation.Basic understanding of ammonia refrigeration systemsEffective oral communication skills between departmentsAbility to conform to scheduling requirements, possibility of working rotating shifts and be on-call
