Job Title:Precast SlingerCheck all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.Location: Worksop (Large Precast Concrete Manufacturing Facility)Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Precast Slinger to join our dynamic team in our large, busy factory based in Worksop. As part of a leading manufacturer in the precast concrete industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe movement and placement of heavy precast units within our production facility.Key Responsibilities:- Safely sling and direct the lifting of precast concrete elements using cranes and other lifting equipment.- Work closely with crane operators, production, and yard teams to ensure smooth handling and positioning of units.- Conduct thorough checks of lifting equipment prior to use, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.- Interpret lifting plans and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifts.- Support general factory operations when required, including assisting with production and loading.- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.Requirements:- Previous experience working as a Slinger/Signaller, ideally within a precast concrete or construction environment.- Valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller or equivalent qualification (Essential).- Strong understanding of lifting operations, including safe rigging practices and load security.- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.- A proactive and safety-conscious attitude.- Flexibility to work overtime when required.Benefits:- Competitive pay with opportunities for overtime.- Permanent, stable employment in a growing company.- Full PPE and ongoing training provided.- Opportunity for career progression within the factory.- Supportive and inclusive team environment.How to Apply:If you are an experienced Slinger looking for a new challenge in a thriving and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you!
