This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected company, maintaining mechanical plant, heating, and hot water systems across a key site in East London, with occasional cover across the Home Counties.Role Overview:As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical plant and heating/hot water systems, primarily within plant rooms. You will ensure systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in line with industry standards, providing high-quality service at all times.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical plant and heating/hot water systems.Diagnose and repair faults within plant rooms to maintain operational efficiency.Provide occasional cover across the Home Counties for holiday or sickness absences.Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry best practices.Use provided tools, equipment, and technology to complete maintenance and service reports.Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.Requirements:NVQ Level 2 qualification as a minimum standard.Strong plumbing/mechanical bias with proven experience.Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.Full UK driving licence.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Benefits:Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE).Company van (private use allowed) and fuel card.Uniform, phone, tablet, and specialist tools provided (hand tools to be supplied by the engineer).Full induction training, including IT training.Private healthcare.28 days holiday, including Bank Holidays.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a long-term career with a leading FM provider.
