Their industrial cleaning division provides screen hire along with emptying and cleaning digesters for the water industries.Due to continued growth, they have a number of opportunities for enthusiastic, hard-working Mechanical Fitters to join their team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical installation of pipework and equipment found on water and water treatment sites, they should have a strong understanding of working to installation drawings and be able to overcome general problems that come up when installing equipment on site.The key responsibilities involve:Setting to technical drawingsWelding & fabrication site activities as requiredOperating site-specific power tools and equipmentAdherence to Health and Safety protocolsFollowing instruction from Site Supervisors and Contract ManagersEssential Qualifications:CSCS Card (Labourer minimum requirement)Mechanical QualificationFull UK Driving Licence (Essential)Desirable Qualifications:Experience working on water utilities sitesConfined Spaces CertificationCoded Welder Qualifications to BS EN 1090 or equivalentCPCS/NPORS TicketsAny other site related qualifications/tickets e.g. IPAF, PASMA, CompexSkills & AttributesExcellent punctuality and professionalismDemonstrate hard working and "˜can do' attitudeAbility to work well within a teamDemonstrate use of initiativePackage:Competitive rates of payFull-time basic hours 37.5 per weekTravel Hours at Standard RateRegular overtime available @ 1.5 rateCompany Van & Fuel CardCompany pension20 days annual leave + bank holidaysOvernight accommodation provided & daily allowances paid whilst working awayDevelopment opportunities and training available for those who want to develop their skillsPlease email your cv to (url removed)
