For more information, visit .Summary of Position:TheSenior Interior Designer - Hospitality , as part of our Design Studio, is responsible for leading and executing creative design solutions across a variety of projects with a focus on hospitality environments, including living spaces, food and beverage venues, and hotels. This role involves collaborating with clients and internal staff to transform concepts into innovative and functional designs. You align with our Core Values of: Integrity, Service, Excellence, Innovation, Inclusion.Responsibilities:Design:Prepares initial client inspired designs based upon general direction or concepts provided by clients and senior staff.Develops initial space programming, finish options and FFE selections.Prepares drawings and renderings using BIM/CAD programs and/or hand sketches.Prepares construction documents for small to large-scale projectsTakes field measurements of existing conditions.Provides construction phase services, including field observations, submittal review, and answering RFIs.Ability to produce design presentations for client review at various stages of the project as lead designerAbility to research, select, and produce FF&E presentations for client review, as well as produce book format furniture specifications, including custom fabrication as lead designerAbility to produce FF&E estimates working with our internal procurement team.Collaborates as lead designer on projects of any size, in a variety of markets, focused on hospitality, including, but not limited to living environments, food and beverage and hotels.All other duties as assigned.Project Management:Assists with project management tasks. May be lead manager on small to medium size projects. Has contact with consultants and clients.Compiles data and organizes files.May analyze and monitor hours expended in various phases on projects.Assists in the coordination of FF&E procurement effortsProblem Solving:Participates in problem solving as part of the design team.Independently develops concepts that are consistent with design intent and building program.Provides design solutions to specific conditions or general design issues.Exercises independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of construction materials and techniques and building systems that are applied to create constructible designs that meet construction cost budgets.Qualifications:Bachelor of Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture from an accredited College or UniversityNCIDQ is preferred5+ years of professional experience including hospitalityExcellent knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Lumion, and similar programsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)Ability to independently develop sections, details, and schedulesAbility to generate "mark-ups" to be completed by othersProficient knowledge of building and life safety codesAbility to assemble and produce a set of construction documents with general supervision onlyAbility to generate book-format specificationsTen or more years of professional experienceTeam:You will work with a team of Architectural professionals and report to the Director of OperationsWork Location:This is a hybrid role that can sit out of either of our; Wilmington, DE; Philadelphia or West Chester, PA offices.Benefits:Medical InsurancePaid Time OffParental LeaveDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) matchingSalary range is dependent on experience and locationNote:Please do not be concerned if you do not meet every requirement.
