Mechanical Estimator

My client is a family run business based in Sittingbourne, Kent an opportunity has come up for an experienced Senior Mechanical/Plumbing Estimator to join our team.Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.· Preparing multiple detailed Mechanical/Plumbing estimates for residential projects ranging from £5-30 Million· Hold meetings with clients, suppliers and subcontractors· Aid with preparing Labour Histograms, draft programs, cash flow forecasts, material schedules and procurement schedules etc· Collaborating with the Electrical Estimation Team to provide joint bids· Reviewing Specifications, Schematics and drawings· Prepare accurate cost estimates and take offs, keeping updated with the price of materials, labour etc· Must have experience in the high rise residential sector, Design and Build schemes etc.· Negotiate deals with Suppliers and Subcontractors· Help support the contracts manager, commercial team and supervisors with live projects· Experience using software such as Quickscale and Extreme Estimating preferred but not essentialWhat we can offerCompetitive Salary - based on experience (£35k - £70k)Company Vehicle - Upon completion of trial period (3 months)Annual Bonus - Bonus paid for good effort and hard work...
